Our review process
We commission writing from the services people most want reviewed. We never accept discounts or free samples, nor do we disclose that the task is for a review.
After receiving the product, we have it blind-reviewed by professionals, including business, academic, education, and writing experts.
If we deem it in the public interest, we do a deep dive on the service.
We publish our reviews ASAP, but will post deeper dives and exposés as the need arises. So stay tuned!
Review criteria
What do we care about when we review writing services? The same stuff you do. We evaluate...
Cost. How much is it, and how convenient / secure are the payment methods?
Basic quality. Did the deliverable follow directions? Did it respond to what was asked? Was the content original?
Time. Did the writer / company meet the deadline? How fast were they?
Customer service. We're no Karens, but if we had an issue, did the company respond? Were they friendly, professional, & helpful? How are the site policies? How legit does it seem overall?
Writing Quality. How well was this written? Does it need a lot of revising?

SuperbPaper.com
SuperbPaper.com
SuperbPaper.com Review Summary
$10 - $58 per page. Price varies based on academic level & deadline.
"Yeah, they definitely wrote something. The content is about the topic and they addressed the prompt, but it was just superficial summary, filler, and vague statements. Some of the content seemed like it had been paraphrased from web sources, so it was technically original... just not very good."
"They had 5 days to work on our order and they did meet the deadline, but just barely. I wonder how they would've done with an even faster turnaround. I suspect not very well. And what would've happened if we needed edits?"
"I didn't have to contact them, but it seemed easy enough. I did like that if I had to contact them, I definitely knew how to get in touch."
"It was frustrating that their policies were so confusing & written in such garbled English. I could not understand the specifics about when or how they'd provide a refund because the paper was just not very good, for example."
"It's pretty sketchy that they don't give refunds at all if you "choose additional services" like a TurnItIn report. It's even sketchier that if you request a 100% refund, they copyright the material and make sure it's linked to them in TurnItIn and other plagiarism detectors."
"I have serious doubts that this document was written by a native speaker of English."
"I'm a busy person. I was annoyed that they took so many words to say nothing of substance."
" I had to spend about 2 hours revising each page, so no, I'd say this wasn't worth it."
SuperbPaper.com Review Verdict
Our reviewers unanimously agreed that between the "horrifying grammar mistakes" on the site, the "mindless word salad" they received, the pricing, and the "weird or sketchy" policies, SuperbPaper.com is...

As Jake, our resident community college professor, put it, "What's so 'super' about a B, anyway?" We don't know, either, but we DO know you should steer clear of this one.
EssayMarket. com
EssayMarket.net Review Summary
$11 - $22 per page. Price varies based on academic level & deadline.
"They really misunderstood the prompt. I was not happy that they just used basic web sources instead of academic ones. And they only used quotes from the same 3 pages of the book...coincidentally, the same pages that are on Google Books. Right. Total coincidence."
"They did meet the deadline. No complaints there, at least."
"They must get a lot of fraud complaints, because my credit card called me the second I placed the order and I had to verify the transaction to the credit card company's customer service people. AWKWARD."
"It was so, so, so, so obvious that whoever wrote this neither had a degree nor could really speak English."
"I had to rewrite the whole cover letter so it didn't sound like it was written by a badly programmed robot."
EssayMarket.net Review Verdict
Our reviewers generally agreed that "at best, this is mediocre work that will take a lot of time to revise" and even worse, "the writing is so bad you can't even learn anything from it. Fluency and grammar errors mean that "these documents are just so unprofessional it's embarrassing." So, Essaymarket.net is...

Livia put it best : "It's neither an essay nor really a market, since they price everything out ahead of time, so what's with the name?"
Unemployed Professors
UnemployedProfessors.com Review Summary
$25+ per page. The site uses a bidding model, so prices vary for each project based on deadline, topic, and expertise.
"I was actually really impressed with the analysis and the sources they chose to back it up. It was a fantastic college-level essay."
"The whole thing went above and beyond. Great analysis, lots of secondary sources that I verified, impeccable citations. It was research I could use."
"The writer kept in touch throughout & found some great sources."
"I got it back several days before the deadline. Awesome."
"I set a deliberately crazy overnight deadline because I was so convinced they'd fail to deliver, but I was wrong. And now I feel a little bad about it."
"I didn't have any issues, but I liked that I could add on "VIP" customer service. A good option in between those annoying, aggressive chatbots and just crossing your fingers."
"I thought it was really cool that I could pay in crypto. I love that kind of privacy."
"They were very responsive & fast when I had questions. I felt like they really cared."
"I've never said this about a writer from a service before, but this person really seemed to care about language. It was well-written, like actually interesting to read."
UnemployedProfessors.com Review Verdict
Our reviewers were "extremely happy" with the service, the product, the turnaround, and the whole experience. Even though the "prices could be a little lower," our reviewers unanimously agreed that "actual expertise is going to cost some money. The "real people writing and working" at this site can "add value to your writing, no matter who it's for," as Sara put it. For these reasons, UnemployedProfessors.com is...
